LATEST RACE RESULTSThe ClubSully Sailing Club is a small friendly club dedicated to dinghy sailors. We have just opened our new Clubhouse with disabled access, hot showers, and a committee room (but no, we do not have a bar). We also have what we claim to be the longest slipway in the Bristol Channel, which allows us to sail at virtually any state of the tide. The only power-boats allowed in the club are our own safety boats. We race every Sunday through the season, with handicap races for both the 'fast' and 'slow' fleets. In this way we are able to offer competitive racing to all regardless of the class of boat you sail. We have informal training sessions for our less experienced members held on a Wednesday evening, and have recently been granted 'Dragon Sail' status by the Welsh Yachting Association. This will lead to a programme of more formal training for juniors. If you don't own a boat but are keen to sail we can help. There are crewing opportunities in two person boats across a range of performances. Contact one of the club officers and we will put you in touch with the skippers. We run training courses for juniors - contact Roger Dykes if you are interested. Our single hander's are mainly Topaz's, Lasers and Super Novas. Multi hander's are Miracles, Enterprises, GP14s, Scorpion, RS400, Osprey , Vago and Dart 16 and 18.
